KC Da Rookee has had successful weekend visiting two radio stations in London. Rookee hit the capital with an exclusive ‘Kendrick Lamar remix of the track “I” ’ for the stations, as well as DJ packs consisting of THE Album “CHOSEN”. Promo Flyers and New ROOKEE Snapbacks.
First to be visited was Whoa FM’s, The Universal show, presented by DJ Special K. After receiving an exclusive freestyle from Rookee over Busta Rhymes ‘Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See’ track, Special K was keen to get him into the studio for an interview.
The interview was a huge success with a great atmosphere and energy from the start. Several topics were touched on including Rookee’s career, beginnings, music, label movement and his thoughts on the music industry. Politics and the use of profanity in music was also spoke on and created stimulating conversations and opinions.
The second visit was to DEJAVU FM presented by Lukan DeLegend.
Again, this interview was a huge success and began with a lively atmosphere as Lukan had Peaches and Sizterly Love from The Big Debate Show in the studio.
After some laughter and introductions, Lukan got into it with KC Da Rookee.
Discussing KCs views on today’s current music, Hip Hop history, influences, and of course Rookee’s movement.
Both interviews were full of in depth discussion, laughs and great music.
KC Da Rookee, Challan Carmichael and Jack Sawyer had an extremely enjoyable time throughout the day, and would all like to personally thank DJ Special K and Lukan DeLegend as well as Whoa FM and DEJAVU FM for allowing us to come through.
